Serious Star Wars aficionados will appreciate this handsome collectible, an exact replica of the lightsaber used by Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi, reproduced at 45% scale. Star Wars Classic Trilogy 4" Basic Figure: Bespin Han Solo with Heavy Assault Rifle

Continuing where its popular and collectible line of Star Wars action figures left off in the '80s, Hasbro now offers its new Power of the Force line, with new renditions of some of your favorite characters from the original Star Wars trilogy. From The Empire Strikes Back, here is mercenary adventurer Han Solo in the outfit he wore while visiting the aerie confines of Cloud City (an Imperial trap!). Articulated in six places for action poses and featuring authentic styling and details (this is Hasbro's first "burly" Han sculpting), the figure also comes with Han's trusty blaster pistol and a heavy assault rifle. Also included is a 35mm freeze-frame action slide depicting a scene from the film. --Matthew Mason

Star Wars Episode I Basic Figure Collection I: Anakin Skywalker (Tatooine Slave) with Backpack and Grease Gun #3

Young slave Anakin Skywalker would some day grow to become one of the most tragic and controversial figures in the galaxy, a Jedi Knight whose seduction by the dark side of the Force would transform him into the evil Darth Vader. But, as seen in Star Wars: Episode I, young Anakin was once a gifted youngster with a penchant for pod racing and droid construction. His action figure debut features young Anakin clad in his Tatooine fatigues with authentically styled backpack and a grease gun for working on his pod racer. This collectible figure includes a new CommTech chip embedded in its stand, a feature that allows Anakin to say "I'm a person and my name is Anakin" and two other phrases (CommTech reader sold separately). --Jerry McCulley

Star Wars Episode I Basic Figure Collection I: Queen Amidala #12

When her peaceful reign on planet Naboo is disrupted by the arrival of a massive Trade Federation invasion force, Queen Amidala makes a desperate attempt to defy her enemies and resist the Federation's takeover. Aided by two Jedi knights, the young monarch departs from the royal palace in Theed and escapes from the surface of the planet to seek help. Fans of Star Wars: Episode I can recreate these dramatic scenes from the movie with this authentically styled Queen Amidala figure. Featuring the queen's elaborate headdress and a removable robe, the figure comes with articulated limbs for posing the queen in a variety of positions. Measuring approximately 4 inches tall, the figure comes with a CommTech sound chip. By placing the chip on a Star Wars CommTech Reader (sold separately), you can hear Queen Amidala's voice reciting lines from the movie. --Chris Burns

Star Wars: Millennium Falcon (Galactic)

Can an epic struggle between good and evil, where the fate of the galaxy itself hangs in the balance, be cute? In this set of pint-sized Star Wars hero from Episode IV (also known as just plain Star Wars we have three familiar figures done up as adorably tiny versions of themselves. Han Solo, Chewbacca, and C-3PO are piloting a tiny version of the Millennium Falcon, which comes equipped with a laser cannon, opening cockpit, and audio snippets of R2D2, C-3PO, Chewie, and the sound of the laser cannon firing. While its not exactly an accurate depiction of characters from the films, it’s enough to make a generation of youngsters get hooked on the Star Wars saga. --Charlie Williams

Star Wars Force Battlers Figure: General Grievous

With a white and silver body, red eyes, and massive, claw-like feet, this General Grievous figure--part of Hasbro’s Star Wars Force Battlers series--looks a lot like the fearsome, skeletal robot from the movie The Terminator. Squeeze Grievous’ legs together, and his four arms swiftly spring up, holding green and blue lightsabers or a grappling-hook launcher, all included. The figure otherwise has limited mobility. To fire the grappling hook, simply pull the attached string back through the launcher and press a button. --Andy Boynton

Return - "Star Wars Classic Trilogy 4"" Basic Figure: Princess Leia Organa in Ewok Celebration Outfit"

Hasbro's new line of Star Wars action figures had quite an act to follow--the originals from the '70s and '80s have become highly collectible classics. But the new line has become an ever-evolving delight as well, offering never-released characters and new renditions of old favorites. From the conclusion of Return of the Jedi, here's Princess Leia (with the line's second, much more realistic facial sculpting, along with a unique hairstyle) in her peasant-dress-style, Ewok celebration outfit. Articulated at six points for action posing, the figure also comes with a bonus 35mm freeze-frame action slide featuring a scene from the movie. --Matthew Mason

Star Wars Classic Trilogy 4" Basic Figure: Luke Skywalker in Ceremonial Outfit

When Hasbro revived its pioneering Star Wars line of collectible action figures it improved on previously released characters and offered renditions of previously unavailable ones. From the triumphant coda of the original Star Wars, here's young hero Luke Skywalker in his ceremonial outfit, with a medal that hangs around his neck, and holding a blaster pistol. Articulated at six points for ease of posing, the figure is authentically styled (featuring the line's second, more life-like sculpting of Luke). The figure also includes a collectible 35mm freeze-frame action slide featuring a scene from the movie. --Matthew Mason

Star Wars Force Battlers Figure: General Grievous

To fire the grappling hook, simply pull the attached string back through the launcher and press a button. --Andy Boynton

Star Wars Return of the Jedi Figure: Jabba the Hutt

Make no mistake: Jabba the Hutt, the drooling, slug-like villain from the Star Wars series is completely disgusting. But isn't there something about him that you just find kind of cool? After all, if you could wield power around the galaxy while basically laying around all the time, that would be pretty great, right? To call this smallish plastic representation of Mr. The Hutt an "action figure" is a bit of a stretch since Jabba isn't really the active type. Still, it's loads of fun with a pivoting head, a removable tongue, and a hookah accessory. Jabba would make a fine addition to any desktop either as a tribute to Jabba's legend or a cautionary tale against ever becoming like him. --Charlie Williams

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Republic Gunship

Although it’s meant to be mostly a utilitarian vehicle, designed to carry and deploy massive amounts of clone troopers to carry out the nefarious wishes of the mysterious Darth Sidious, nothing in the Empire’s vast arsenal of ships is without stylish amounts of menacing design. Sure something boxy and efficient would have worked just as well, but, they must have figured, you aren’t going to scare off the straggling remains of the Jedi order with something bland and boxy. This Republic gunship has a canopy for two pilots, a rappelling line for troopers entering the battlefield, and a pair of spring-loaded missiles. No clone trooper figures are included leaving you free to build up a new army of whatever Power Rangers, WWE Superstars, and Barbies you find lying around the house. --Charlie Williams

Star Wars Power of the Jedi Collection 2: Bespin Guard

The blue-clad Bespin Guard (also known as Wing Guard) act as the law enforcers for Cloud City. While this guard's uniform has good detailing, the facial sculpting is somewhat nondescript. A blaster pistol fits in his holster, a removable cap can be placed on his head, and the pair of handcuffs is to keep any troublemakers in line. The figure stands 3.75 inches tall. --A. Galindo

Elaborate on that dangerous encounter with this authentic replica based on Star Wars: Episode I, The Phantom Menace, complete with snapping-jaw action! A specially articulated (for swimming motions) Qui-Gon Jinn figure is also included, complete with special Jedi underwater breathing apparatus and a harpoon for fending off marauding predators. --Jerry McCulley
