Novel science fiction on global
warming
a main point in Gore's movie aICT is
that Greenland is shedding its ice at an
irreversible rate. Where is the scientific
basis for this? nowhere. According to data
published in "Science" in 11/2005, Greenland
was losing about 25 cubic miles of ice per
year. that yields a shedding ice at 0.4
percent per century - much less than Gore's
claims.

part of its drive to launch five satellites

Environmental Scientist Refutes
Al Gore's Convenient Untruths
As we are now just hours away from former
Vice President and soon-to-be-Dr. Al Gore
receiving an Oscar for creating a deceitful
schlockumentary about global warming, it
seems appropriate to hear from another member
of the scientific community that is not
buying into this junk science.

Global Warming: A Short History
of Nearly Everything. Bryson's Comment
Anyway, a few months ago I finished
reading Bill Bryson's 'A Short History of
Nearly Everything,' a book the New York
Times Book Review describes as "destined
to become a modern classic of science writing."
I found Bryson's observations about climate
change on pages 426 and 427, particularly
interesting:

A Canadian Perspective On Climate
Change
Groups like "friends of science" and
other organizations are popping up all over
the place trying to debunk the overwhelming
scientific evidence regarding climate change.
Just like with the tobacco industry these
energy companies and big politicians stand
to lose big bucks if we are going to reduce
or even eliminate the use of fossil fuels.

No Science in Psychiatry - these
are actually my opinions
There is really too much drugging in
our society. Over the counter and on the
streets. I really feel strongly about the
fact that psychiatrists are just high powered
drug pushers. Educational scores have dropped
since the influence of psychiatry in schools,
more and more "mental illnesses" seem to
be invented on a daily basis.

Unless we announce disasters, no
one will listen, Sir John Houghton
“If back in the mid-nineties, we knew
what we know today about climate, Kyoto
would not exist because we would have concluded
it was not necessary” Dr. Tim Patterson
- Professor of Geology, Dept. of Earth Sciences,
Carleton University. A few interesting quotes
on global warming.

Lou Dobbs: The "Dangers" of Marijuana
[VIDEO]
Lou invites a supposed "expert" to discuss
with him the "new science" on the "dangers"
of marijuana. It's obvious how biased the
good doctor is. None of what he says is
fresh. It's the same tired propaganda that
we've seen in this country from the anti-marijuana
crowd for decades now.
