01110010 01111001 Binary
Binary logic, binary math, binary circuits
-- they're the foundations of computer hardware
and software, but why? There is nothing
in computer science as basic as the binary
number system. In fact, the word binary
is often used to refer to something that
is too simple, as in,He's a binary thinker,
meaning he can't see shades of gray.

Hot-Headed Gore Needs To Cool Off
With so much conflicting science, Al
Gore should stop using only the most outrageous
estimates. His unwillingness to consider
evidence that conflicts with his theory
makes his lack of scientific credibility
clear, says The Weekly Standard.

Congress is that they used science and research
in order to debate the issue. One side was
not allowed to walk in and say that it was
a foregone conclusion so now let's debate

Science Finds Advantage in Focusing
There is rising evidence that multitasking
does not allow us to get more done, but
less. We should really focus on one things
at a time rather then spread our focus out.

False Teachings and Contradictions
in the Bible?
Atheists claim that the Bible teaches
many false things about the nature of our
world - things that have been disproved
by science. Others claim that the Bible
contradicts itself. This page is a somewhat
random collection of such allegations and
their rebuttals.

Quotes from Scientists Regarding
*Design* of the Universe
Science is leading us back down the
road of design - not from a lack of scientific
explanation, but from scientific explanation
that requires an appeal to the extremely
unlikely - something that science does not
deal well with. As a result of the recent
evidence in support of design, many scientists
now believe in God.

Heaven's Gate, 10 Years After
Jesus was an alien, our bodies were
just "vessels" holding spirits ready to
ascend to an approaching spaceship hiding
behind a comet, and 39 suicides in the name
of yet another religious nutjob. It reads
more like science fiction than human tragedy,
but it happened 10 years ago today.

Young Students Benefit from Focus
on Reading
A solid foundation in reading is a base
for better school performance across academic
disciplines and across grade levels. Successful
reading skills, acquired at an early age,
promote better overall school performance.
If a student cannot read, there will not
be success in science, social studies, mathematics,
health or any other discipline.

Is there a healing god?
Either this thing is a hoax, which it
could be, but i have heard first hand accounts
from people i know wouldn't lie to me; or
there is a healing god who hears prayers;
or there is more to this prayer stuff that
science has yet to discover. Either way,
we can't totally discount it.

WORST SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT WINS
GRAND AWARD!!!
I'm sorry, but I just have to get this
out. Here is the abstract from a kid who
won 1st place in the computers section and
grand award at the High-School Houston Science
Fair. In my opinion, this isn't even a project,
and is just stating the obvious. It shouldn't
even be labled a "computer" project and
certainly should not be labled the best.

Did You Just Sneeze? Let me say,
"Science"
I sit in an office for a good nine hours
every day, and we have an open floor plan.
That's right, no cubicles, no privacy whatsoever.
It's inevitable that in any of my nine hour
sittings, I'll hear no less than ten sneezes. Is
it any wonder to you that I became a bit
wary of the phrase "bless you"?

Who's More Evil: Scientists or Hitler?
Scientists of course. As I investigate
the world with my new-found curiosity I
can’t help but see an ugly pattern emerge.
There seems to be a major contradiction
in the world of science that has baffled
me since Darwin’s Theory of Evolution
was shoved down my throat in freshman biology.
As I advanced in my science classes......
