Lego Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Jedi Starfighter & Vulture Droid (7256)

Lego has done it again; giving us another awesome addition to their Star Wars collection, this time with this two-piece Revenge of the Sith set. You construct both the Jedi Starfighter that Anakin Skywalker (figure included) pilots in combat, as well as the Vulture Droid of the Separatist arsenal. Both of these models stand alone as finely detailed Lego units equipped with some of the best decals you’ll find. The instructions take you step by step through the simple assembly of both vehicles so there is no difficulty in achieving results. Have fun outfitting the models following the step-by-step directions or go off on your own to create unique Star Wars ships. This is a Lego product so you’ll want to be aware of the numerous small pieces that aren’t suited for young children (recommended 7+ years of age). There’s fun to be had with this toy for Star Wars collectors or Lego fans alike! --Chip Quinn

Star Wars Revenge Of The Sith ARC-170 Fighter

The clone troopers from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith don’t exactly need a custom ride as they patrol the galaxy far, far away enforcing the will of Emperor Palpatine and his forces of the dark side. Still, they get to operate a pretty nifty starfighter as depicted here in miniature form. It sports a swing-down handle for easy navigation, a pair of spring-loaded projectiles, proton torpedoes that drop down on the bottom, and wings that open in classic Star Wars x-formation. An R2 unit fits snugly in the wing to serve as a navigation aide. No clone troopers are included with this set, leaving you free to either buy some or load up other action figures from around the house, thus creating an entirely new science fiction adventure as GI Joe, the Power Rangers, and Barbie all take the ride of their lives. --Charlie Williams

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter

We doubt it was the mode of transportation made available to Anakin Skywalker by the Jedi knights that made him renounce his friends, take up with the dark side, and become Darth Vader. Because the starfighter given to the conflicted and sullen Anakin was actually pretty cool. Done up in toy version here, it sports wings that open into an x-formation, a pair of spring-loaded missiles, an embedded R2 unit, retractable landing gear, and a canopy. We found the ship to be well built and attractive. Unlike many toys, there are no batteries to buy, insert, or worry about here. It’s simply a vehicle for imaginative play, something that the Star Wars series has always provided in ample amounts. --Charlie Williams

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith: Obi-Wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter

Obi-Wan Kenobi’s life is not without some measure of disappointment. He never gets a really snazzy wardrobe, never gets the girl, is forced to live out much of his life on Tattooine being regarded as an old coot, and his star pupil, in a particularly disheartening move, has become the most feared evil-doer in the universe. But before you feel bad for Obi-Wan, check out the cool starfighter he gets to pilot. It has a canopy that pops open, wings that snap into x-formation, a built-in R2 unit, and two spring-loaded missiles. This is the ship that Obi-Wan pilots in the opening sequence of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith when, along with Anakin Skywalker, he goes to rescue Emperor Palpatine, another decision that was somewhat regrettable. --Charlie Williams

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Grievous' Wheel Bike

Although he is evil and wreaks all sorts of havoc all over the galaxy far, far away, it’s hard not to feel just a little bit sorry for General Grievous from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. We suspect the whole cocky thing he does is really just a front, masking his own insecurities, plus he is an android with respiratory problems (kind of strange when you think about it) and while other bad guys get to drive those awesome star fighters, Grievous is stuck with a bike. A bike! It kind of gives you an idea of how Darth Sidious really feels about him. Said bike is recreated here in toy form as the included Grievous figure can sit in the center sphere as the two wheels spin around him. There are a pair of legs to lower down, affording a clambering option, as well as articulated claws and a spring-loaded projectile. --Charlie Williams

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Figure: Vulture Droid

Part of Hasbro’s line of Revenge of the Sith toys, this vulture droid sports the gray-blue color of a battleship and the thin, disc-like body of a manta ray, with long wings that rotate 360 degrees. Press a button, and a black missile fires from the droid’s underbelly. All in all, it’s a pretty cut-and-dried action figure. Included is a cute, little buzz droid, which looks like a pair of umbrellas affixed to a tripod. --Andy Boynton

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Figure: Stass Allie

A little-known character of the Star Wars universe, Stass Allie is a Jedi Master and a member of the esteemed Jedi Council. This action figure--part of Hasbro’s line of Revenge of the Sith toys--features Allie wearing a wild-looking headdress and traditional Jedi garb. She’s accompanied by a BARC speeder, a sleek, slender, gray-colored hovercraft into which she slides neatly. Equipped with pop-down landing gear at the front and back, the speeder breaks in two to simulate battle damage, a rather lame feature that, more than anything, seems designed to get the toy to fit into Hasbro’s standard packaging. The figure’s quality is solid, however, with nice detailing and joints that twist simply but cleanly. --Andy Boynton

Star Wars Unleashed Figure: Asajj Ventress

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Figure: Yoda with Can-Cell

This wild-looking action-figure set, part of Hasbro’s line of Revenge of the Sith toys, features Yoda and a Can-Cell--a huge, flying insect, possibly inspired by the ‘50s sci-fi movie The Deadly Mantis (6302763916). Sporting a purple body, green eyes, a protruding tail, and six spindly legs, the Can-Cell gets around with the help of four massive, transparent wings that span nearly 16 inches. Yoda--in a flowing tan cape, and in a yoga pose, with his legs crossed--sits snugly on the creature’s back. Instructions are included. --Andy Boynton

Star Wars: Millennium Falcon (Galactic)

Can an epic struggle between good and evil, where the fate of the galaxy itself hangs in the balance, be cute? In this set of pint-sized Star Wars hero from Episode IV (also known as just plain Star Wars we have three familiar figures done up as adorably tiny versions of themselves. Han Solo, Chewbacca, and C-3PO are piloting a tiny version of the Millennium Falcon, which comes equipped with a laser cannon, opening cockpit, and audio snippets of R2D2, C-3PO, Chewie, and the sound of the laser cannon firing. While its not exactly an accurate depiction of characters from the films, it’s enough to make a generation of youngsters get hooked on the Star Wars saga. --Charlie Williams
